Layla Yarjani is Director of Operations at Little Bridge, an immersive games-based children’s learning platform. Prior to Little Bridge she spent five and a half years in consulting during which she founded NEXTGen London, the first chapter of professionals supporting Unicef in Europe. NEXTGen is now being scaled across Europe with Unicef and committees in local geographies. Layla also advises refugee integration and entrepreneurial projects.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a dual major in business and political science, Layla has been involved in philanthropy from age 14 and throughout university. She is passionate about improving the lives of children through education and development, which she sees as the key tenets for creating long-term impact.
She is particularly passionate about working with Unicef to support children in emergencies and enabling access to education during times of crisis. She believes with Unicef’s global footprint, expertise and relationships it is the ideal organisation to partner with to make an impact. She has diverse international experience having lived in the UK (currently), Iran, Spain, and several major US cities. Outside of NEXTGen Layla loves to travel and practice yoga!
