Catrin Nye is a correspondent and documentary maker with the BBC. She has reported all over the world including repeated trips to the Syrian border to cover the conflict there which means she knows first-hand how vital Unicef’s work in the region is. Catrin grew up in Wales, studied Broadcast Journalism in Leeds and after living across the UK is now settled in London. Catrin thinks that Next Gen is vital in engaging young people in causes that may not always make headline news but so badly need our attention. In her spare time Catrin likes to travel and paint.
